The Detox Bath

Before it turns to spring and the weather gets too warm and sunny for a hot relaxing bath in the tub I would like to share a recipe on how to take the ultimate bath - The Detox Bath. The bath takes 40minutes, where the first half is for when the body get rid of the toxins, and the second half for when it absorbs the added minerals in the water. The only time I can take a bath is in the evening since I get so relaxed after a hot bath that all I have energy left for is sipping a cup of peppermint tea before I go to bed and fall soundly asleep. So I would suggest you do the same. 

The Detox Bath
5dl/2cups epsom salt (magnesium sulphate)
2.5dl/1cup bicarbonate of soda
a few drops essential oil (optional)

Fill your bath tub with comfortably hot water, add the ingredients and hop in. 

You should feel your body starting to detox after a few minutes. Stay in the bath for up to 40min if you feel comfortable doing so. It is a good idea to have a glass of cold water close by in case you get uncomfortably hot or drowsy.
